8. Thrush
Thrush which is a common yeast infection that affects men and women. It’s usually harmless but it can be uncomfortable and keep coming back.
Further more, It is not a sexually transmitted infection (STI).
A common sign of thrush is the presence of creamy white, slightly raised patches in the mouth. Usually on the tongue or inner cheeks.
But also sometimes on the roof of the mouth, gums, tonsils, or back of the throat.
To treat thrush, your doctor may prescribe antifungal medications – tablets, lozenges, or liquids.
